Glastonbury festival may be over, but the party is still going on down in Devon! It was a showstopper of a summer garden BBQ party last week at Sundial Care Home in Tipton St John, with singing, dancing, and even a Shetland pony making an appearance.

The day was led by brilliant entertainer, Patrick Jarvis, who had the group up singing and dancing with him under the gazebo. Team member Mikyla told us that the day went fantastically and that “Billy the Shetland Pony was very popular amongst our family members and he received lots of invites for him to come and live in our garden. There was a relaxed and fun atmosphere amongst us all and to top it off the BBQ and Mister Softee ice cream van went down a treat. We have received lots of positive feedback and look forward to many more garden events this summer.”

Sundial’s manager, Elizabeth Thompson, said “the families really enjoyed it, so much so they have suggested having a committee to help organise the next one.”

The home look forward to more community events held in their gardens throughout the summer.
